The Roller Coaster of Life

­­Life sometimes can feel like a roller coaster ride. For many of us it’s hard to stay off the ride because we feel it’s the only way of moving forward and getting things done. But right now, today that roller coaster ride for many of us has been taken away. Our normal activities and busy nonstop lifestyle have come to an abrupt halt because of the Covid 19 virus.

You may be asking the question “when will we get a ticket to return to our daily roller coaster?”.

The other question you maybe asking is  ‘why is God allowing this to happen?” Is it because he wants us to reevaluate our lives and take time off the roller coaster to access where we are going?

We have all been catapulted into a new era of realising that we don’t control everything. Who would have thought that there would be a time when nations closed their borders, travel restrictions would be enforced, many would lose jobs, the sky would fall silent and the world’s economy is shaken to its very core?

Even through there is much sadness and darkness it can also be a time of revival if we look at this as a time of opportunities. God gave us the freedom to choose – we were not made to be robots – we were given freedom to make our own decisions. So, we may decide to bury our head in the sand and wait for all this to pass or we can see it as an opportunity to start over again. To refocus, reevaluate and take the time to ask God – Why am I here? What should I do with my life and the BIG question –“WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?”

The world has STOPPED but that doesn’t mean we also stop – we can move on a different level – spend time at the feet of Jesus and let him guide you on the way forward – because his will for your life is the perfect one – don’t miss out on this time to connect on a deeper level and get a better understanding of why you’re here RIGHT NOW.
